Ana & Janusz share a common passion for social change, particularly for addressing the disparity in quality of education amongst the youth. The team is committed to using their broad skill sets to combat these inequalities and bring opportunities for the youth in remote Australia and the developing countries.

Ana has always been a passionate advocate for education and a believer that all children should have the right to be educated. Prior to the non-profit sector, Ana had a worldly recognized, professional career in fashion. She was working as a model between New York, Paris, Miami and Milan. Ana is a member of the UNSW Alumni network with and MBA from the AGSM in Sydney and serves on the Board of Directors at the Culture College. She is a speaker of five languages and was awarded a “Disaster Hero” in 2010 by the Premier of Queensland for the 
ground contribution to the flood reliefs in the Lockyer Valley.

Chairman of LJ Hooker and Hooker Corporation, previously a Managing Director of Asia for W.P. Carey (NYSE:WPC). He graduated from the Wharton School of Business and was a Bronze Medalist in rowing at the 1996 Olympics. Janusz is continuing a culture of the Hooker Family with the mission of giving back to the community, as well as furthering the development and prosperity of his country Australia. Janusz serves on the Board of Directors of the Culture College and was awarded a “Disaster Hero” in 2010, by the Premier of Queensland for ground contribution to the flood reliefs in the Lockyer Valley.

Lopa Mehrotra

Lopa has dedicated her career in the US and Australia to social change and leadership. A single thread guides Lopa’s work: that education and entrepreneurship have the power to transform lives and communities.

She is currently a consultant to the social sector, working with clients such as St. George Foundation, Aus Dance and Social Impact Hub. Lopa serves on the board of YPO Sydney, and is a Founding Member of the Australia chapter of International Women’s Forum. She has served as President of the Board of Trustees at the Chance School, Secretary of the Board of Directors of Women 4 Women, and Board Member of the Community Foundation of Louisville.

Ellen Farley

- HFF Company Secretary and Public Officer -

Ellen started her career in 1999 as operations manager and EA for L. Janusz Hooker’s company TiNSHED, an Asia-Pacific investment firm comprising a group of the region’s leading private investors.

After that she worked for Artist and Entertainment Group, and subsequently became an actors’ agent for premiere acting agencies Encompass Management, Marquee Management in Sydney, where she managed the careers of many high-profile Australian actors.

She is now working again with L. Janusz Hooker and plays a pivotal role in helping Hooker Family Foundation manage its corporate governance.
